Climb Africa's highest peak on guided multi-day treks. Choose from Lemosho, Machame, or Marangu routes. No technical skills required — just determination and good preparation.
At 5,895 metres, Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest peak in Africa and one of the world's great trekking goals. Unlike the other Seven Summits, Kilimanjaro requires no technical climbing skills — just determination, good preparation, and the right guide. Beryx Travel operates Kilimanjaro treks year-round with KPAP-compliant porter practices, certified mountain guides, and 90%+ summit success rates.
The mountain is a world of contrasts — you pass through five distinct ecological zones in just 5–8 days: lush rainforest, open heath moorland, lunar alpine desert, and finally the glaciated summit crater. Each day of the trek brings a completely different landscape, making the journey as rewarding as the destination.
Choose from Lemosho (8 days, best acclimatisation), Machame (7 days, most scenic), or Marangu (6 days, hut accommodation). Full pre-trek briefing in Arusha covers gear, altitude, and what to expect.
Days 1–3 take you through montane rainforest (colobus monkeys, hornbills) and into the vast open Shira Plateau (Lemosho) or heath zone (Machame). Camps are well-equipped with hot meals.
The key to summit success is "climb high, sleep low." Our longer routes include dedicated acclimatisation hikes, dramatically improving your body's adjustment to altitude.
Departure at midnight from High Camp (4,673m). 5–7 hours of slow, steady climbing to Stella Point, then 1 more hour to Uhuru Peak (5,895m). The dawn view from the summit is unforgettable.
Our 8-day Lemosho route achieves over 90% summit success — far above the mountain's average of 65%.
All porters are paid fair wages, carry proper loads, and are equipped with warm gear under our responsible tourism policy.
All guides carry pulse oximeters, altitude medicine (Diamox on request), and oxygen emergency equipment.
Our mountain chef serves hot 3-course meals at every camp — altitude doesn't mean roughing it on food.
Spacious tents, sleeping mattresses, and a dedicated dining tent at every camp. Gear rental available in Arusha.
All lead guides hold KINAPA certification with 100+ Kilimanjaro ascents and wilderness first aid training.
Classic open 4WD game drives through Tanzania's national parks. Morning and afternoon drives with expert guides who read wildlife behaviour to position you for the best sightings.
