About This Safari
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro (JRO) or Arusha Airport, you will be met by your Beryx Travel representative and transferred to your lodge. If time permits, enjoy an optional city tour of Arusha, exploring the Cultural Heritage Art Gallery and the vibrant Maasai Market — the perfect place to pick up authentic Tanzanian crafts.
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro (JRO) or Arusha Airport, you will be met by your Beryx Travel representative and transferred to your lodge. If time permits, enjoy an optional city tour of Arusha, exploring the Cultural Heritage Art Gallery and the vibrant Maasai Market — the perfect place to pick up authentic Tanzanian crafts.

After a 7:45 AM pickup, drive 2 hours to Tarangire National Park. Known for its rugged beauty, Tarangire is dominated by massive Baobab trees and the Tarangire River. Spend the day tracking lions and watching elephant families bathe in the river. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic viewpoint before heading to your luxury lodge on the Manyara escarpment.

Today is dedicated to culture. Drive to Lake Eyasi to meet the Hadzabe tribe. You'll learn about their unique click language and witness their ancient hunting and gathering skills. Depart for the Ngorongoro Crater. This 260-square-kilometer caldera is home to 30,000 animals living in a self-contained paradise.
